Post Wcc releases
Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond human ken I didn't have my main camera with me today, just my mobile. So.. pop over to my blog to check out what RealxHead had on the block. Unfortunately RealxHead is so hot (in part thanks to this board I'm sure) that the dealers snagged almost all the RealxHead pieces before the punters could. Even though nothing went on sale til opening time and they busted up the line like 3 times until the doors opened. It was madness I say! madness.

http://datadub.com/ko-lab/

Cronic had some dope new colorways as well and there lots of the usual cast of characters. I'll try to get some more pics of stuff I bought and I think there were a few other board members with cameras there as well.

That's an 8-9 inch figure. Impressive. So it was madness huh? Is it your sense that it's getting crazier with each festival and subsequent YJA feeding frenzy?

As far as RealXHead goes, most definitely. I wouldn't be surprised if he stops selling at the shows. I think he was really bummed today that everything went to the dealers.

yes - a sub list would rule, then he would be guaranteed sales. And could make extra for shows etc.

And then get up early to watch them finish. It takes it's toll. Sub list sounds good - although it could easily end up JP only, like the SB fan club.

yeah, we forgot sometimes there are japanese collectors.

Has Mori thought of stepping up the numbers or does he intend to keep them all small runs?

Not sure, maybe he just wants to keep them limited. He has moved from releasing 30 pieces of one figure per show to 2 pieces of 30 plus 15 pieces of a (more) limited item.

I guess it is nice to hear that Mori-san's creations are gaining in popularity. I am not sure what it will mean in the future for us here. I really hope we are still able to get stuff in the future. But unlike SB where we can't join the fan club I hope if he does decide to go that route he will not forget us.

I like the Bigaro inspired deluxe vinyl! As well as the Astro Zombie collab on the Chaos - right sexy color combo!

Now - anybody got a Alpha Bigaro othey want to sell me?

How often is the WCC held? Twice a year like some of the other big shows?
