 Wish Books
As a kid my favorite thing about Christmas, besides Christmas itself, was the day in late Sept. / early Oct. when the Wish Books would arrive. I stumbled across this site last night and have been having flashbacks ever since. http://www.wishbookweb.comPick a year. Let it load. Scroll to the back pages, in most cases, and go through the toys of yesteryear.

 Re: Wish Books
I collected those tudor games football teams for the vibrating football stadium. Had all of them. I would make up a season and play shorter versions of the real game every weekend. Even kept stats of all the games and tallied everything up each year I played. I was an industrious little fuck.

Chuck Norris Karate Kommandos. I BET EVERYONE WANTED THOSE.
Some of the old electronic equipment is kind of neat to look at. I still like the 'box-that-does-things' aesthetic.

 Re: Wish Books
Now the Sears Wishbook is but a shadow of what it used to be. Today's kids are really missing out. It used to be THICK...like Bride magazine thick.
