Post Pre-Black Friday?
So I had no idea that our Best Buy in Ithaca had this big silly sale that started yesterday, I dropped in there and I can't believe what I came out with...

All this stuff added up to $175. Insane. :D

Any consumer-crazy-cheapness-goings-on in your town???

A lot of stores are having pre-"Black Friday" sales to push any and every product they have.

It's bad out there folks. Might as well take advantage of it!

Ya I loved Carnival. Season 1 was better though, imo. TV needs more shows that are intelligent and mystical.

Dexter and Californication have a way of hitting home a bit deeply at times. Great shows too.

Agreed, but nothing tops Arrested Development. My discs are nearly warped from overplay.

Wow. YOu can't usually touch HBO box sets for less than 40 bucks..Just getting the bottom row for that price was a steal...

My Arrested Development DVDs have been played and replayed a dozen times. I think tHe only ones that even come close are my Always Sunny in Philadelphia dvds for replay mileage...

They had Rome too! Season 1 and 2 for $20 each, but all gone. :(

Arrested Development was $9 something each, but season 3 was all gone. :(

Watched a few episodes last night. Fantastic series, every bit worth the ten bucks I paid for it.

Well, I dropped by Best Buy on Sunday to spend a few birthday gift cards, and the HBO stuff ws right back up at its usual ridiculously high prices...ah well...bought the new Smith's compilation cd put out by Rhino instead. (No tacky badge...I was disappointed.)

Dexter is a great series. Lucky you if you were able to pick up one of the seasons for $20 or so!

The Arrested Develoment DVDs were $9 something each, Dexter S2 and Californication were $15 I remember correctly...

I went back there to see if they restocked Rome season 1 and 2, but that place was cleaned out.
