I was doing a search for some toys and I came across a response on some tiki mug message board from someone saying they would trade mugs for japanese vinyl, specifically hedorah and secret base.

I figured that's gotta be someone who posts here. so fess up!

Bryan,

Familier with Tiki Central or Ooga Mooga? I have my collection up at: www.ooga-mooga.com

User name is Maori_man. Take a look. Bulk of the collection it listed there. Enjoy. You think Jap Vinyl is expensive and hard to find? Sheesh! Try looking for vintage ceramic!

Awesome collection man... Tiki mugs are cheap at goodwill and garage sales ;) that's about the only place i buy mine. It's always an awesome treat to find a mug for a couple bucks.

My father has a crazy tiki collection!

I used to collect but the lure of big$$$ for a ceramic mug I paid 25 cents for helped me start up a nice Kaiju collection...I once ended an auction early because the high bid was $189 on an item I had paid 25 cents for, I recieved death threats for a week after ending the auction early.

I thought all of the tiki/jap vinyl prices are crazy. My sister Jacque has bought and sold mid-century modern for about ten years. Jacque bought a Nelson clock at an estate sale for 12 bucks and has had offers in the 8 grand range, she still has not sold....Crazy
