Hey folks, I know this is a little early, but with the year-end holidays at our doorstep I thought I'd throw this out there now. What do y'all think about having another BASK Trade Fest in January? Saturday the 10th is full moon.

Cool, I'm glad you guys are into it. Bert as usual I feel the same way ... not sure what to trade, but I'm coming with an open mind and a willingness to make sacrifices for fresh vinyls this time. Hopefully other Bay Area 'brainers will show too.

So let's tentatively plan on January 10th at 11am unless people have objections to that date. We can do the usual ... meet up at S7, shop a little, then head over to J-Center to claim a table and mystify tourists and other living things.

as usual, i'll be rolling out of bed at 11am on saturday...

I usually don't have much to trade either. I go to hang out. I'm guessing it will be the usual routine. Meet at S7 between 11am and noon time, then we either go eat or trade then eat.

Thanks Bert. I was hesitant to bring this up because I've been out of it with a weird flu, but I seem to be on the upswing today, wa-hoo. I also feel like "I have nothing to trade" but I'm gonna bring some stuff to sacrifice up to the Toy Karma Godz anyway. Looking forward to it and to seeing everyone!

I like the timeframe Bert suggested. That'll give peeps time to shop at S7 and annoy the staff, then at noon we can split for J-Center and figure out where to haggle and eat.

Ergh! Flu is getting much worse, and I saw my doc today. He says I have bronchitis, so most likely I can't make it to the trade on Saturday! If it's not too much trouble, can someone shoot a few photos of the trade and all the fun doings? Darn!

Well...you've got tonight and tomorrow evening to get better so bundle up, take tons of vitamin C, and get well so you can join us. We really don't do a tradefest that often...I think we did it 2-3 times in 2008. The thing is, it's the same people bringing the same stuff. This time will be different with JoeBunny coming (yay!!). You never know, there might be something that you will like.

I'm still fighting off a nasty bug too but I'm gonna do my best to be there with toys that I haven't brought to these shindigs before. I don't know if anyone will want my vinyls 'cause I don't always have the most "mainstream" sort of taste, but it's always fun to see what people bring.

we should all wear these for tomorrow. people will wonder what we're doing with the toys if we're all wearing masks.

Arrgh! Oh agony! I've been in bed for the last 2 days and it's even worse! I'm going to have to scrounge JPY for new lungs at this rate. Hubby came back home with the Super 7 #9 magazine to cheer me up tonight. I'm gonna miss all the fun .
