Should be a good show. These colorways are exlusives to the show:

Unfortunately its impossible to see the colorways from that colorized B&W photo - hopefully they will be different from the ones released last weekend at WCC..

Huh? That's the photo Cronic supplied to the TTF. Why do you say it's a colorized BnW photo?

The TTF figures are amber and are TTF exclusives. No reason to think they'll be the same as the red, clear, and multi-color figures released at the WCC.

What's that? Looks like a monocolor photo. Hard to make out any actual colors...

Where did your photo come from, and why do you think it has something to do with the TTF figures?

thats my point. the photo is a colorized B&W I just made in Photoshop of a photo I took of the WCC figure. I'm just trying to make a point that the photo you revieved is a image mock-up probably done for the TTC by Cronic. Most likely because the acutal figures weren't done yet, but TTF wanted something for promotion.

I pass no judgement about the TTF figures. I am as anxious as anyone to see the colorways.

I agree with Datadub... the picture you posted looks color altered, and most likely not an indication of the actual colors of the figures.

Ah gotcha datadub. Can't confirm or deny that. Just going by the promotional photo received by the TTF. I can tell you it's confirmed that these will be amber figures. I'm also looking forward to seeing them as well as the other figures One Up brings to the show. Hopefully I can pick up a bunch of Cronic figures. :)

I always assumed it was a mock up/teaser since it looked like a black and white version of a color photo
I wouldn't buy any chronic except maybe that crazy colored wcc version of the mult arms one.. but something about the arms just bothers me

The guy with the arms is totally growing on me - I was thinking of passing him on but now I'm not so sure. Most likely both the TTF vrsions are variations on the multi-cvolored vinyl & paints from this past weekend.

From the info supplied by One Up, the TTF figures are variants of the Zyurai and Marveraus figures which were created for One Up's 5th anniversary.

Those are pretty funky colorways! Gotta hand it to One Up, they do their own thing when it comes to colorways. Can't say I'm a big fan of each of their experimentations, but some come off really nicely, especially the block colored figures with crazy lightning streaks and tags on them. I'd love to pick up some of those.

So One Up is the production company and Cronic is/are the designer(s) - is that right?

I'm working out a trade for a black with pink stripes. I sure hope that works out. :)

Cronic is a designer/creator a la rwalHwad/Blobpus. One up is a shop in nakano Broadway. Occasionaly they commision custom colorways as shop exclusives. They've done a couple of Touma pieces. Cronic seems like a strange fit for One Up as they tend much more towards the designer toy, shop is full of [expletive deleted]/Kubrick/Hong Kong type stuff. The annex shop upstairs has a shelf or two of SB & Gargamel but thats about it for R.F.S.O.-oriented stuff.
