You're all going to only listen to death metal tomorrow...
right?
I certainly hope so. I know I will be, but then I listen to a lot of death metal every day.

I actually think that Slayer, while they rule and I do fucking LOVE them, might not quite be evil/satanic enough for tomorrow.
I think it should be like, National Deicide Day.

is slipknot praised or shunned by people who are into heavy metal? (i'm just curious... I saw them in concert at one of those radio festivals once and I thought the performance was awesome. so that's the only metal cd i own)

i hate slipknot
but it may be because i grew up with mushroomhead (who i also hate lol)
and slipknot was roadrunners prefab answer (put masks on a band) when mushroom head wouldn't sign with them

 metal
ha -- you know, I nearly forgot that today is going to be Slayer's day!
I'll have to add them to the daily rotation of Godflesh, Unsane, A Perfect Murder, Atreyu, Angel Rot and the other bands I listen to while designing cutsie stuff at Pokemon

yes, Chad, that's all acceptable.
also, I love slipknot. no lie. totally overlooked by many metal fans because of their gimmicks and the blue-haired teenage mall goth fan base they draw, but the bottom line is they can tear shit up.
