Re: REBEL of the rising sun
Oooo. Metalflecked red looks killer LASH. I like how the red makes a quick, yet oh-so-smooth fade to black for the teeth.

Re: REBEL of the rising sun
I don't really care for this sculpt (because it is wearing jeans, mostly) but that really is an incredible custom job. I am always impressed by your colors; not only the main color that really pops, but the way the colors in your details always compliment it so well. The contrast of the less glossy white bandana and head detail really set it off, as do the gold pen and belt buckle.

Re: REBEL of the rising sun
This is sharp & very production-y, The paint on the brush as well as the clean execution really sells it as a true inspired custom.

Re: REBEL of the rising sun
great work lash, great choice of colors. the white shoes make me think of the sopranos... i actually like the dead presidents version too. it's one of the few dollies i think the pinstriping actually "works" on.

Re: REBEL of the rising sun
Some of my favorite LASHness!!!!! Been staring at this on your flickr. Funny I wanted to make a red one too. I hadn't seen the DP one either. Makes me feel all Christmasy and dead inside (sigh of contentment).
I don't get the sense of anything missing off the back. This is hotrod slickness for me!

On my list of things to do. I need to hunt down another affordable fig or get someone to commission one first though. I'll probably have performance anxiety after seeing this bad boy though. This is a really nice example of pairing a great figure w/ an excellent paint job! Just killer work man!!!
