Anyone started applying paint? Any problems sticking to the metal bodies?
Also, anyone take one apart yet? Are they hard to put back together? I'm a bit nervous that if I take the screw off the gliders it's going to spring apart.

As far as taking the screw off of the "dash-wing"—which is what those winged backpacks are called—it's not hard to disassemble, but there is a small spring there and it might be frustrating the first few times to reassemble. But it can be done. I did it when I was 10 and did it again recently 30 years on. Not too sure about the pain on metal, but I'd assume that a primer or sanding parts down might help. But I have never owned any of the Palisades reissues so not too sure about how good (bad?) the metal is as far as paint application goes.

Re: micronauts space glider custom trade I have the sickest "header" finished for mine. I have my guy apart and waiting for paint. Be sure not to strip the tiny screws and that spring sure is small. What are you guys doing for headers?

i know that i am painfully behind in most areas of my life but i finished my figure
last night and wanted to see if others may need a bit more time.
the due date is 12.20.08 which i wanted everyone to at least have pics of their figure
to post at that point. if anyone needs more time please speak up so we can adjust. i
would rather have this take extra time than not work out for some.
what says you?

the figures arm..
