 Re: Cronic Collections
I think we rarely see the Cronic stuffs because Cronic appeares in a festivals which are taken place a few in the year only and it's hard to get especially the *HOT* figures but you guys seem to pick up them easily!! I can't find the words but "WOW". Anyways GREAT Score and congrats!

 Re: Cronic Collections
I think a lot of it is luck. I heard about the show at OneUp just a few days before it took place. So it was just luck and coincidence that I was in the city.
There are a few hardcore collectors in Japan who are there at the front of the line at *every* event. So there are some amazing collections out there which have never been shown publicly.

 Re: Cronic Collections
I think you have a good luck indeed And your Cronic Collection is AWESOME! you're one of the hardcore collectors in the world, aren't you? /haha I got to know what Cronic released until now with checking your collection or the Blog. It's fun. Well, die-hard collectors seem to wait 6 hours~ before its selling. Some flippers as well So I deceided to go and wait like them in the next time. By the way, I think I saw you at the place of Black Parade 1. Did you go back to your country now? If I have a chance to meet you, I'll try to speak some. Sorry for my poor pronunciations in advance though

andy wrote: BTW, about that "jewelless nougaki" the figure is like that on both sides. When I got it, it was in an unopened package, meaning it originally came that way. So, kind of a mysterious release! it looks just like the Rotofugi Nougaki but without the Jewel. I'll double check mine tomorrow. I've been really down about not getting anything from the Parade...but since I don't focus on fight figs, it's not so bad. if there had been a wealth of Doromes and Nougakis instead I'd have to cut some throats. I still have no idea how you guys do it. I never even got close.

 Re: Cronic Collections
I've got the Rotofugi version and compared them side by side. They're similar colors but different designs. I'll put up a side by side pic when I get a chance. About scoring Parade figs, it was total blind luck being in Japan when they dropped. But believe me, there were tons of flippers in line, so I've heard that a lot of the figures have circulated via e-mail lists, agents, or other channels. I've even seen a few on Yahoo Japan for semi-decent prices. kaz - yeah I left Japan a week or so ago. I only waited in the Black Parade line a few hours. Guess I'm not hardcore enough.

Ken was pretty helpful with international sales you just had to send him an email and respond fairly quickly. There were about 10 pieces left after BP1 and 3 (including two mavs) after BP2. Great to be able to score one-off cronic fight figs for original price. I'm PSYCHED!

 Re: Cronic Collections
Awesome, glad you scored! Side by side shot of the Rotofugi Nougaki (left) and mystery Nougaki (right). What this looks like is a suped up Roto figure. Suped up Noug also has glitter on its head and hands!
