I really wanted this, but I had to impose some kind of cut-off because I thought the price for this toy was getting just unreasonable. My only hope is that some of those holding it will now put 3-4 on the market which will sell for less.

That price is ridiculous. These were never cheap, but they didn't go for this kind of money before Shikaruna became the new hot ticket.

Well, this figure is kinda special if no more will be made. But I agree. Still it took alot of effort on my side not to keep bidding, but I kept telling myself that it was just not worth the money being bid, no matter how much I would like to have it now. In the long run, true collectors will eventually find these for a good price, with patience. At least that is my hope.

Well said Daniel. Shikaruna was always on the cusp of breaking out this year but the HP Dororu's really sent this company to the next level. Eventually though the hype will die, you might get a little bit of a sell off (the flippers on YJA realized this quick and it's why we all have Shikaruna figures), people move on to the next thing. I suspect we will definitely not see many Marine Kong's showing up though. It's a pretty elusive figure.

Gotta watch those horns. Not sure if it happens to other manufacturer, but i have noticed scrapes on the horns of other SK figures. My Siberian iron beast had a major one and my bagun a small one and all this were MIBs.

Lulubell has the new space monster kaiju up for preorder as well as this super position version of the dororal.
Personally i was about to pull the trigger on the Dororal until i saw the S and P on the front and back of the figure....why does super position need to brand everything they make in such obvious ways? I really like the colors used in this version....the silver head is awesome, If i can look past the horribly painted "S/P" on the figure i"ll grab it.

Have to agree, the Silver head slays.
This almost looks like what LASH would paint.
And yea, have to look pass the S&P.

The S and P mar an otherwise lovely paint scheme. It's like that M1 Godzilla with the words painted down the front. Yeesh.

yeah i immediately thought of LASH's custom when i saw this one, this one falls short in comparison to his...and the S/P really hurt it (I wish it could be removed somehow), but despite those shortcomings, it's still an awesome dororal.

A little paint would cover that up nicely.

I saw these this morning...I think it looks great. Don't really mind the S/P at all. The silver head is fantastic.
I recently bought LASH's custom Dorol...so I can't pick this up too ... 3 Dorols would be too much for my shelves to bear. I agree though that it kind of looks like something Rich would paint.

Man, Dorol has really lost weight...judging from these pics.

If the doruru's were that skinny it would be very cool. They simply take up to much shelf room for me.
