Re: Score of the year.... A couple of my favorite toys I got in 2008:  hellopike custom from secret base swap the original inspiration for the zag plane, the groverplane (not to be confused with aerosmurf)  and this giant dolphin has been serving me well.

With only a few days left in '08, I think its safe to say what my scores of the year were:  I had been on the lookout for this since I first saw LASH paint a custom version last year. I had to pass one up in NYC in Feb... I finally got it in August. Best JJ *EVER*!  Tan-Ki's awesome Mutant Chaos- So different from any of the other customs I have, I was so happy that I managed to aquire it! And finally, it arrived yesterday-  Tim Biskup Handpainted Rangeas- When I first got into vinyl toys (albeit western vinyl at first) I was introduced to Tim's art, and he's still one of my my favorite "Low-brow/pop/whatever" artists out there. Rangeas is one of my favorite Kaiju, so the two combined is just awesome. I've got "The List" of artists (and some non-artists) I'd like to have something created by, and I had Tim Biskup down there- but I didn't know what my chances were considering he's a rather well known artist. But when I saw the Bispop Rangeas' I had to try to get one. And I lucked out. =) There are so many other things I could list here: Kichigai's awesome mini-zag, my first PK custom, the Skullbrain Monstens did for me... But I'm trying to keep it short. The best I could do was limit it to 3.
