I can't determine whether these are genius or garbage (I'm not a "shoe guy")...but I can't stop looking at the Mecha's.

i don't know. I think these shoes look a little juvenile to me. Shoe companies need to realize that everyone doesn't want so much bling on their feet.

I like the Godzilla ones because, at first, you really don't notice what it is. Not saying they're subtle either, but it takes a second. I couldn't get them unless they were $40 or less, though, because I'm tough on shoes. I don't walk around carefully just to keep some sneakers in shape, I'd wreck them in weeks.

I like the King Ghidorah ones myself...

I don't see what so utterly bling about these designs... They kept it pretty 'sober' and mainly use darker colors. That said they don't spark too much interest in me.

I'm not much of a sneaker guy either (some good ol' Converse in black of course suit me just fine), but I could see myself kicking around in the Mothra pair. I have to admit they appeal to me. So many colors all mixed together like that shouldn't work, but they do

They came out in Germany and are pretty much sold out. Some websites saying 29 pairs per style world wide and the Godzilla ones are less then 13 pairs. I'm not 100% sure I agree with that number unless it's per country. Hanon shop in the UK had a few of each style but that was a few days ago. If anyone REALLY wants them PM me I can give you someone to email in Cape Town because that store is launching the ones they have on April 9th. I don't know pricing or anything from them just who they are. I picked them up at Hanon shop at a respectable 105 gbp. They were a massive 180 euro a pair in Germany though. Good luck to anyone chasing them.

Edit: They are NOT coming out in the USA I've heard from far too many people to think the info is wrong.

Yeah, I'd love a pair of those King Ghidorah's to actually wear. Wish they were the Clydes though. The Mothra is cool, except for the moth fur.

Same here. The Mecha-Godzilla's are killer and I would love to have a pair, but I buy shoes to wear. Toys pretty much cover my "things to collect, as well as collect dust" quota.

If I could score these without a lot of hassle for a hundred bones or so, I'd be all over them.

This is looking to be an expensive purchase.
