I lurk on forums, sometimes you just don't want to sign up and have to talk with a bunch of assholes all the time, but you still want to get some of the info so you just lurk and read. That probably doesn't apply to this board as much since we are all basically the coolest mutherfuckers in the world that anybody would ever want to hang out with, so maybe they're just shy.

moco - across the bottom where the users are and it shows who's on the boards at any given time. There is an option to go into Hiding Mode in your profile. That way it will show you as on the board but in hiding and will not name you per se

No - people just visiting and reading are marked as guests in the rolls. People that have signed up on the forum have the options to "lurk" as it were by choosing the stealth option in their profile preferences.

I always forget to sign in.
I don't sign in when I'm at work either because I'm back and forth and our computer is public.

I usually show up as a "guest' because I only bother to sign in on the rare occasion that I actually post. I always wondered what "hidden" was - thanks Dr. T for explaining that!

The truth is that when I first joined Skullbrain it would remember me and everytime I popped in it knew who i was and now for some reason I have to sign in everytime I come in and if I want to post it wants my name and password and I check Remember me automatically but it fails to remember if I go to post again I have to sign in again anyway I'm just extremely lazy now I hate signing in 6 - 8 times every visit so I just come in and read in hiding...sorry but its just a big major pain in the ass.
