Holy shit I might actually get to go for one day, would Friday be the day to go if you can only do one, or will I miss some crazy shit? Will S7 take CC?
My girlfriend wants to go to San Francisco so we would probably go there for a couple days and then drive to San diego for a day before coming back, if we go.

go thursday.
It might be cheaper to fly than to drive. Gas is very expensive.

Yeah we were considering driving all the way from Van down there froa road trip but I'm definitely going to check out some flights and hotel packages with my travel agent next week, it might just make more sense.

count, you want to spend more than one day at SDCC. see if you can compromise with the lady and do 2 days at SDCC. that way you will feel like you pretty much saw everything. the first day is complete sensory overload, you will be too overwhelmed. the 2nd day you can kinda know where you wanna go and what you wanna see.
and fly from SF to san diego. it's a pretty long(but beautiful) drive. you will waste the best part of a day driving down(it's about an 8 hour drive). plus it will be cheaper

the trick is to fly out of oakland, it is usually about $25-50 cheaper.

Thanks for the suggestions, I might have to think about going Thursday and Friday, I just don't know if I'm going to have the money to go for an extra day even since I haden't been planning to go until yesterday and I haven't been saving any money, it could be tight. The more I think about it flying all the way would probably make the most sense so I'm definitely going to check that out this week.
