I think this WAS her gimmick, but a lo-ong time ago.

and quite an intelligent young lady, nowadays more likely to be found interviewing the likes of Mizuki Shigeru for some magazine.

She is still the "Princess of Otaku" though, and you are just as likely to bump into her in Nakano Broadway as see her on TV.
