Since you're doing this in a serious vein and not just for shock value, then yes, as long as you warn people that the content is graphic.

The more people who are aware of Israel's outrageous behaviour the better.

I am really uncomfortable with Obama's silence on the matter also. I vowed I would be optomistic about Obama, but this really isnt a good sign for me....

Could the appointment of Rahm Emanuel have anything to do with it?

I am posting this so peole can see how these type of actions ruin lives. I am sure people have seen similiar images before but this is happening now, and I hope by posting will somehow galvanise peoples will, against this and other attacks. Check out some of the other footage. I am sure if more of this kind of thing was seen screened on mainstream, change actually could happen.

True. There have been a couple of fairly peaceful marches in Belgium over the past week to show support for the Palestinian people in the 'warzone'. But as mentioned above, the time for some of the world's leader to interfere and show respect has come.

In a drunken state of optimism I thought that Obama might take a different stance on Israel. In the cold sober light of day, I realise that the US is far to tightly wrapped up with Israel and no president who had any hopes of a future would stand up against Israel.
Obama made it known early on that he intended to continue to support Zionist Israel, and the appointment of Emanuel just solidified that.
No backing down now.
The world powers will just sit back and rattle a few swords make some noise and do sweet fuck all until Israel decide that they are done... for the moment...

What really hurts me the most seeing is that children are in that mess. I'm not a very religous man but for some reason I want to pray that they did not/are not suffer/ing. At this moment in time mankind really sucks.

there used to be a time when France was one of the few crountries to publicly support Palestinian people...that was before the former president was elected and I'm sad about it...

We can only hope that the Obama administration will attempt to bring diplomacy rather than military intervention back into play. The Gaza strip is presently a lose/lose situation. The Palestinians voted in Hamas, which has is a fundamental belief that the very presence of the state of Israel in the Middle East is sacreligious and therefor should be eliminated. And we have the state of Israel, which presently feels that a 1/100 kill ratio equals 'an eye for an eye'. The Carter administration used diplomacy to get Israel & Egypt to finally chill out. I am not sure if Hillary will have that capacity, but we can only hope.

Funny how nothing was said when Hamas was launching hundreds of rockets into Israel, and not at military installations either. Hamas also has a history of using civilian locations (hospitals, mosques, etc.) from which to launch attacks on Israel. As far as diplomacy goes, the US does not negotiate with terrorists, should we expect others to?

The US does a lot of things I wouldn't expect others to do.

Discussing this last night with a friend, we both agreed that Israel is indeed in a difficult position in terms of where to attack etc, but that still does not give it the right to carpet bomb a country and a people that it has already treated like subhumans for years, stolen land from and generally kicked about like a pile of trash.

What is going on makes the phrase, "Never again!" seem so hollow...

I think the comparison of Hamas to the IRA is a fair one. These are not military combatants. What they do in retaliation is not right, but is not surprising given their situation. I think the difference really comes down to the disproportionate response from a military power like Isreal. The children in that video are not Hamas. The way to fight terrorism like Hamas rocket attacks is not carpet bombing from jet fighters in the middle of urban areas.

Everyone seems to rip on Obama already and he isn't even President yet.

"Why has isn't he working to fix the economy?"

Obama is the President-elect, not the President, so it is not his call until he is officially sworn in. Obama's response has been "There can only be one President at a time", which is the smart move. All of Bush's people are still in place and he has no official power to do anything, nor is he privy to anything other information than what is posted on CNN.

Relax, Obama will do fine...at least he can't be worse than Bush.

I think that's a pretty good comparison. I understand why Hamas acts the way it does. And I think many of us would act the same way were we forced out of our homes and off our land - it might not be right, but it is natural.
I'm absolutely sick of our support for Israel.
