Sorry, but this Idea is just a little too "I hate El Maz" for me. I'm sure other people will enjoy it though.

maybe i've been missing something but how does the Bastard Babies relate to hating El Maz. didn't mean to offend El Maz just play up that VP article.

I'm just not into the whole masochistic idea of taking insults thrown at you by other people "I hate El Maz", "Bastard Babies", and turning them into tee shirts. It's not the identity I see for myself or this group. But others may disagree, some people enjoy self defacing humor.

yeah, me neither. I think Devilboy needs to email you the design before you cast any prejudgement on the whole take. I thought that hating on El Maz thing was lame myself. I'm not creating an identity for anyone here by drawing up a t-shirt. It's a play on that article. It's sort of like this hardcore band I used to listen to called No Redeeming Social Value. They weren't really that good of a band but funny as hell, live....and they never took themselves seriously.

Hey LamourSupreme. Thanks for responding to my criticism of the idea. I love your paintings, and I'm sure the shirt will be kick ass looking. It's just the concept I can't get past. But that's just grumpy old me.

i think self deprecating humor has its place as long as its not overdone.
there will always be some that take it to the martyrdom level... whether it be an individual, band, artist etc.
i try to be 99.9 % about positivity, but keep a healthy sense of humor.
and i still just want a shirt with racing stripes

To get the thread back on track - I prefer plain to "soccer style".
However, don't change design on my account as I probably won't be buying a shirt. I dig LS's paintings and wouldn't mind having the shirt, I just don't envision myself spending my money that way right now (meager income at the moment). Anyway, just wanted to give input on shirt style to help get the ball rolling in that direction for ya...

I wouldn't buy a shirt with racing stripes, but I probably won't be buying one anyways since I wear size small

alright...it looks like i can order shirts buy the peice so that means i can order shirts in sizes S - XXL but the XXL's will be a few bucks more. i still don't have a price 100% nailed down but this will also depend on which style people pick...soccer or plain t...so far the soccers have it. i also need to do at least 24 shirts to make this work. the pdf is ready to send out for people to view (it shows the soccer style mocked up so you get a better idea of what it looks like) so send me your e-mail and i'll send it off to you and we can see if we have the commitiment from people to do these.
