Re: gargamel gang at grass hut Just got back from the show - there was some beautiful stuff. That green French Bulldog Thrashman was one of my favorites! The Panda Hedoran was incredible, but not something I'd display. Several other standouts that you'll all see in pictorial form soon enough I'm sure. I maintain that Naoya is the best painter of the bunch - just consistently knocks 'em outta the park! Although Best In Show might go to Kiyoka for the multi-color Zag.
But the best part was getting a meet a few people from the boards - all very cool folks. Had a great time shootin the breeze with Stealthtank, Phantomfauna (& significant other!), Brian Flynn, Bako Boy, and a lurker named Mark. And of course it was good seeing and talking to Mark and Martin again. Good people all the way around!
Too bad some of you CA and WA folks weren't able to make it - woulda been great to meet you guys too! And then you wouldn't have had the website hassle! Hope you guys were able to get through and score something somehow.
