 Re: Yumenoko
I just saw this at a shop and I didn't like it. The body is actually matt black and looks really plastic.. Major disappointment. Going to stick with the smaller originals.

 Re: Yumenoko
the GID Yumenoko above is one of the 'did it himself' ones T9G did with his Museum deal...he's done maybe 6 or 8 of them...maybe more. much smaller and better sculpt than the big one, though the big one is great as well...to me a sleeper hit of 2008. here's a pick of one next to a Gargamel Hedo for scale:

 Re: Yumenoko
wait...I'm confused about the sizes. I saw one at ToyTokyo (black with pink arms, if I remember correct, and the cat mask) and it was pretty huge. so the clear and pearl versions are smaller than that one?

 Re: Yumenoko
The one at TT is the large VCD version produced in 2008 by Medicom. There are 4 large versions total to be produced...each with a different head. The "regular" one (Yumenoko Kidomo) and the cat head one (not sure of the name) are the only ones out so far.
T9G began making the smaller ones a few years before any Medicom connection. They were all made in very limited runs. The following is a list of small versions I know to exist, by no means a complete one:
-All Clear with white fur mask -Clear with pink arms & pink fur mask -Clear body with pink head, pink arms and ? color fur mask -All pink (some parts flocked pink) with white fur mask -Pearl with purple fur mask -GID with fringes and ? color fur mask -Black with pink arms and ? color fur mask
if anyone has or knows of any others, or knows the info I left out...please add it.

I lucked out and got the one I really wanted, but these are def. not easy scores. the big ones, however, are just a matter of ponying up the dough...as they are easily purchased at a number of places.

 Re: Yumenoko
I got the big kodomo recently, and I think Medicom really did a good job with these...just as freaky and unique as the little guys, just scaled up...plus you get the helmet, mask, freaky furry tail...def worth it IMO if you are a T9G fan.

 Re: Yumenoko
Did the tail surprise anybody when they first got the Kodomo? I had no idea it had the tail until I unwrapped it.

I knew about the tail because TT had a protoype from Medicom a while before it dropped...but it was a pleasant addition to an already amazing figure. The tail is amazing! I love the big one, though wish they had made the mask similar to the small ones...still one of my favorites of 2008...

The very fact that it has one at all! I assumed it was just a BIG version of the Yumenoko + mask of course. Then I opened it and WOW! Crazy, huge, furry, hot pink tail!
