A lot of the guys that were on KW, post there now. And its a fairly active forum, I remember when I was on KW there wouldnt be any new posts for days at a time

Started to hang here ( http://3atoys.hyperboards.com/index.php ). Nothing against Ashley Wood but that board seems a tad "ass kissy" fo me. Love his Bots tho.

Re: What other toy forums are you on?
That board is kind of silly. Way way way too many posts. It's discouraging having to wade through all of the inane pointless +1's and 'oh that roolz' posts for actual information. ( But ashley's toys rule and they have Board exclusives that make it worth it....i guess)

'A tad' is an understatement . . . fuggin' pages and pages of it! I had a real buzz for the Bots and 3A stuff in general but that forum is killing my interest fast!

I used to frequent seibertron.com. Pretty cool source for some vintage Transformers

Yeah i passed on the Tomorrow Kings myself....it seems like a weak head sculpt slapped onto a standard 12" body...the best part about it was the robot head it came with. The huge run size and slightness of variation also totally turned me off....hair color and differently died 3A shirts, which kinda reminds me of tattered "ken" clothing... And if I said this over there I'd be torn to shreds. lol

Re: What other toy forums are you on?
Not gettin into the 1/12th stuff. I actually got out of the 6th scale stuff so the Tomorrow Kings didn't hold any interest init for me. It's too easy to custom make the figures myself (fo me anyway since i did this stuff for a livin at one time), same goes for the "de plumes" I can understand why folks are paying stupid $$$.00 for this. The bots are a different story, those are just simply great toys. The Euro Def Bramble is a bit of a puzzle for me. There are only going to be three versions of this bot why pick a village security robot? Thats like doing a GI JOE Navy SEAL then doing a GI JOE mall security guard.

Haven't pulled the trigger on any 1/6 Bramble yet. I was hoping for a darker "metal" colorway but not sure that's gonna happen now. 1/12 seems like a perfect size if they can keep the paint and details going. We will see.

I think it's mostly folks that have been sucked into the hype. With some of the plumes going for stupid money right now it's sorta becoming a collectibles "status symbol". I pretty much just got into the WWR bots this X-mass when the wife dropped a happy bomb on me, a Deep Powder Bramble, Dirty Deeds Bertie, and a ZVR Bertie.

Re: What other toy forums are you on?
Yep been there for years - it was decent 3/4 years ago that and the Ningyoushi boards were where I spent a lot time. But now KR only stocks KR and pushes that (along with the crappy 'apparel') i've lost interest. Tend to just drop in to see what artists people are talking about and new releases we need to cover in Clutter. There are - putting it nicely - some very odd people on there and way too many BAPE-addicted kids
