Lesson learned: People don't want weird complex spicy stuff first thing in the morning unless it's monster vinyl. Next time I'll just make donuts.

Ummm... was that Mr. Humphreys buying the leafman and Kamen Rider Amazon? I really need to be more sociable at these Super7 gatherings and just start introducing myself to everyone I see. That Leafman was awesome. Joe wrote: Mr. Humphreys wrote: Joe wrote: Definitely big thanks to S7 for setting this up. Donuts and coffee were definitely appreciated. Swag Bag was cool too. Sorry Mr. Humphreys- I should have introduced you to the other (ir)regulars in attendance... next time.
Thanks for the great trade event, Super7- toys, doughnuts and free stuff. Best party I've been to all year!
And for the record, the only kaiju encyclopedia there had a beard. ;P

It was kinda of a good thing you guys didn't go to KMH. There was a good amount of people and Kirkland stood in line for 45min while I watched Mia play in puddles .

They seemed to be more for an after meal kinda treat. The frosting was yummy. It could have used a little more of it because citrus helps neutralize the heat.

Dean wrote: Aha! So I am not the only food geek here! Glad you guyz liked 'em. Hahahaha...the Geek party had more kinds of geeky-ness than just toys. There was a lot going for those cupcakes. They were moist, soft, sweet and spicy. The frosting had just a hint of citrus so you also had sour. The chipotle was just enough that you couldn't really taste it so it didn't over power the mango, and just enough that you weren't hit by the spice right away. It only fell short in the presentation. Dean could have been a little devil by saying they were just mango cupcakes and watch everyone's reaction. That would have been funny.

I was a little embarassed to introduce myself, I should've done so and said hello . Yessum il_muffino, that was me . I couldn’t believe my eyeballs when I saw THREE Leafmen in the Vintage case. It was really fun standing all 3 in a line for comparison. The Amazon Rider was another cool toy too! I think Brian should hand out Hello-Kitty name tags for us to put our Board Names on and wear proudly, at the next S7 social Akum6n, thank you for introducing yourself to me. It was a real pleasure to meet you! …so was that tall guy with a beard VintageVinyl? Thanks again S7 for a very fun event

 Re: 1/24 S7 Geek Party-Who's Going?
Sorry I wasn't able to make this. I may possibly have...imbibed...a little too much on Friday. It's hard when you combine 2 of my favorite things...beer and Japanese toys...although doughnuts and Japanese toys are a close 2nd. It was nice talking to some of you folks at KMH, though.
