 death barbarian vs haunted ghostfighter
im still pretty new to SB but i was wondering why u guys think the haunted ghostfighter is already sold out and the death barbarian isnt...do you think its just the numbers or are the ghostfighters that much more in demand?...any theories or ideas?

I bought both, I'd assume more people are into the ghostfighter's than Barbarians though.

The more I see them, I think the Barbarians are becoming one of my favorite SB sculpts... they photograph Soooo well, and they have such goofy expressions on their faces. I just wish they'd get more releases... fewer Obake Dogs... more Barbarians.
SB started up a new policy of not releasing the piece count on or around the Whiteday release... so it's all a mystery.

Haunted GF is a S7 Exclusive figure - less made.
Barbarian is a SB regular release - more made.
Loco said it already - no production runs given. If you like it buy it. No specualting here baby!

They should try making some transparent (or semi-transparent) barbarians.
I like the figure though the articulation bothers me. Doesn't seem as smooth as other figures, seems lesser quality to me.
TT is still selling Haunted GFs so they are around and not sold out...

I think the Misfits/S7 Balzac release was the final straw with the production numbers being known.

I think you can still go to the S7 exclusives page ( http://www.super7magazine.com/sub_exclusives.htm), and check out some of the numbers when they were still letting them be known.

I have some early Skullbees that came in boxes with release numbers on the boxes.

From what I have seen SB have never released run numbers etc. but there was a major clamp on info in general as that Balzac release happened. S7 hasn't released run numbers since then, nor have they put out other info on new figures until right before the release.

I think it was this set. If you look closely, you can see the numbers on the left box.
55/200 or something. This is a S7 store photo.

i agree..the barbarians are probably my fav SB sculpt...i just realized ive always associated S7 with SB...kinda one in the same..i guess i figured S7 made SB products...is this true?..or are they just a carrier of SB stuff and occaisionally have an exclusive with them...is their history conected in any way?
