i'm not a menthol smoker, but i had a coupon for buy one get one free of these, so i caved.
anyways, my first couple out of the pack i held the filter all gingerly because i didn't want to accidentally crush the menthol mechanism.
then i realized the regular version of this cig totally sucked. it tasted awful.
so i went for the menthol thing.
and man, you really need to squeeze the filter on one of these fuckers to break the ball!
my crush experience was a 1 out of 5 (the rating of 1 due to the sound it made when you crushed it was kinda cool).

My gf smokes these on occassion. I am a camel wide guy myself (never within a mile of my vinyl only when I am out at clubs to keep from drinking). They are better than a regular menthol though, wish I had them back when I was still raving if you know what I mean hahaha. You have to crush them then kind of roll them a bit back and forth between your fingers to make it taste right.

Camel is pushing it again as far as getting sued, first joe camel then the tins of flavored cigs and now these. They get more shit for appealing to kids more than any other company, personally I was suprised to see them even come out with these slick marketed things with a cutesy name.

yeah, i never caught onto the roll thing until halfway through the second pack, until then it was strange. it took about 4 drags to get the menthol flavor to fullness. i know what you mean about the marketing gimmicks. like those camels with the pink and black box too! i worked with a guy who said he bought a pack just cause he liked the colors....


i never smoke in my house or near my vinyl. i stand out in the extreme cold and huddle in a corner, powerpuffing....

i actually got the crush gel flavor ball in my mouth thanks to a slobbered filter. sick shit..

i guess both.. i was really hammered and didn't realize the filter was just soggy..

hell no! i've smoked camels for more years than i can remember. i've tried marlboro, but they always give me this wierd hair-stuck-in-the-throat feeling.

actually, the best smokes i've ever had i've only bought a few times at this weird little smoke shop in a boondocks town near me. i don't recall the package having any name on it, but it was a yellow and black diagonal-striped box with a black octagon in the center and a wasp or bee or something in the center of the octagon. i've tried looking all over at smoke shops around here, and could never find them again. and none of the smoke shop owners had a clue what i was talking about...

I'm not a smoker, but a co-worker purchased a pack of some of these and I had to try one. The un-mentholated smoke tasted as horrible to me as any cigarette. Once I crushed the menthol.... widget? I actually liked it. Not enough to make a smoker out of me, but it was sort of refreshing in a way.

Smoked camels from age 14-32. Shifted to Vantage to try and cut down. Kept ripping the filters off. Actually quit for a year and a half. Quit working out, started smoking again. Went to camel filter light. Kept ripping the filters off. Finally switched to the best: American Spirit yellow. Rip the filters off, that way your pack is always fresh, none of this sitting on the shelf for 2 years crap and it is gloriously unfiltered. Filters put little bits of shit in your lungs, too.
My goal is to stop smoking at age 71, just like dad. He's 81 now and mean as a snake. Good role model.
