The Tripus looks fantastic! Amazing work on the metallic paint app...it has a great color-shifting effect.

It does bear an unfortunate similarity to that guy in Bryce's favorite movie.

Got mine today; probably the best, most elaborate paint job I've ever seen on a production piece. My wife said she'd have thought it was a custom if I wouldn't have told her. And Nefasth - from the pics on the back of the insert it looks like there's a GID version in the works! Can't wait.

And as to whether it's a one-off...well, yes and no. It's unique in that it's a hand-painted master he did for the factories. They'll be patterning the general release on that!

He told me that the factory first standard (non-glowie) release is even better than his own hand-painted master for that one. Hell, I'd be happy as a pig in shit if the factory release of the glowie is "only" as good as this master!

Yeah, y'know...if we weren't so busy that day, I would probably've had the presence of mind to take and actual *glow* shot of the fucker! Eh well...

Your going to find yourself quite limited in kaiju/toys in general if head articulation is a selling point.

Well I mean, it could stand to have a turning head. Even if it was a little limited because of those sweet face tentacles.

I already own a few Kaiju that don't, but a bunch of those don't really have definitive heads, like Max Toy Co's Eyezon.

I still very well may buy a Tripus, this just made me think more about it before doing so! And that's a good thing considering my budget.

It must be getting a general release- I cant imagine Chinese factories run like the Japanese ones, In the fact that youd be able to just make a very small number of GIDs-

There must be a G.I.D colourway on zee way, the only question is will it have those badass colours?
