that's a FP that was probably limited to 10 MIB

why does it surprise you that it went that high?

this surprises people, but paying $900 for a two headed bemon is considered a deal.

weird.

as an edit...i'm making a generalization here, not calling you out specifically rich

Calm down buddy :). I wasn't aware that it was limited to 10. I thought it was a larger release around 30. So I was figuring 25-27 K. I don't think anyone here considers 900 for a headed a deal, I know I don't at least.

Why so jumpy today ?

**edit ** just saw your edit :) misunderstands happen pretty fast huh.

There is a closed auction list on YJA if you have an account and was watching it.

Ya really. I've heard a lot of these Beemon? Beman? toys have that problem though. From what I've heard some of that shit is toxic too!

I dunno, I think that's pretty expensive for that particular Bemon - especially if it's a US/foreign buyer using a bidding service.

I paid more than that for the 2008 Final Bemon but I doubt many will turn up and was hoping one would pop up, but would never go into the thousand range for a toy. I figured around 30k for that brown one but damn, 30k yen isnt what it used to be once you convert it o_O

I'm not sure if anyone else pays attention to the bemon end prices, but the last few have
Ended at this level or higher. Hell some people paid over 25 k yen for those mixed parts a week ago.
This price doesn't surprise Me at all

I think the mixed parts prices are totally up to the vinyl, a total mixed bag. Some are still sitting around for "good" (in some peoples opinions) prices while others have gone high.

I went high on one of the YJA ones. As far as I'm concerned, they're 1-offs and it was the one I considered best EVER. I only actually won by like, 500 yen? If I couldn't sell a few things, I'd have passed though.

Anyway, for painted/factory painted ones and even the mixed parts, edition size matters so much, to me at least. Like there's a lot of mixed parts with mud/brown/pale colors, they go for way less. Anything with glitter or some super bright shades or glows go for more since there seem to be less. Now as far as factory painted ones, if it's like 10 or less I understand going deeper.

A lot of us, MOST of us, don't have "agents" or even friends in Japan, we have to go that route. If it's a run of 20+, though, personally it's worth it to wait it out. It's not ALL a numbers game for me, though, I have to totally love it too. I just go by what my odds are of getting one I totally love are and go by that.

Every couple of months Bemon gets hotter than normal (though it's usually pretty hot) but it dies down again. Just the cycle of it. I'm kinda Bemon-ed out for now, got a few I really REALLY RRREEAAALLLY wanted and most other pale in comparison.

Looks like my points got a little lost in the rant though, I'll simplify:

Current prices for factory painted = a bit high but I feel will die a bit down
Mixed Parts = A totally random bag, just depends on the color/vinyl combo
Bemon = Rules, but I'm taking a break

OH, AND, 2-Headed Bemons, for runs of 30, INSANE prices. I don't care HOW they're leaked out in small bits, still nuts, BUT I STILL WANT ONE ARGH!
