we had to hightail it from Ottawa to make it to a computer terminal in NYC in time for the 10 pm email...I left at 2 pm from Canada. I only managed to get online around 10:05...so I'm actually really surprised i got it.

I managed to get on only at 10:07, damn traffic.

I emailed at exactly 10:00pm Friday night which was 12 noon japan time on the 7th, so I don't think it made any difference! I really think for these lotteries you need to do it FROM THE WEBSITE. Reason being I never got a response from Zollmen till I sent them a message via the site asking if they ever got my first message. The only reply I got was you lost, which I'm cool with (knowing is nice). Word to the wise for future lotteries, the info@garimpo.jp - I don't think goes to the same place as the website requests. I was so flustered on that mother lottery that I sent a request in via the website and won.

Hey Lixx, I won a Zudon by sending it to info@garimpo.jp (not the link on the page) at exactly 10:00pm. I think it's just the luck of the the lottery. I wonder how many e-mails they receive and how they pick the winners?

Oh Cool Chris, well that blows my theory out of the water. I had not heard of anyone winning that way so I made an assumption. Yeah I'm curious about the process myself. I wonder if the print out all the names and draw it from something or they have some sort of automated random selector via a email filter or something. Guess we won't know. It's good to hear that you did win via the email though because I was starting to think mine went to limbo.

I entered the same way for the Maza lottery and they were kind enough to reply even though I didn't win. Very cool of these guys to make lotteries available to overseas collectors. Can't wait to get glow Zudon!

Well, I have to back up Lixx on this one. I only can go by pattern of history. First Zudon released, I won using the direct email. First Mother released, I lost using website fill-in. GID Zudon, I lost using website fill-in. This is not to say the website does not work, but perhaps there may be a delay in the amount of time web-based inquiries reach the reader.

Just arrived! So happy with this version and an awesome omake too.

This is the stupidest looking toy ever, someone should just sell theirs to me retail NOW so they don't lose money on it down the road when they have to drop it at half the price just to get rid of it.
