Yep, this was posted on CDX, but can't complain about more pics!

I can't quite tell, but is this the same basic sculpt as the previous CCP Godzilla that was meant to fight the crawling Hedorah? Looks the same except for the arms...

Yeah, looks like the same as the Hedo Goji, except the arms and minus the damaged eye.

Weird, because the '66 Goji and the '71 Hedo Goji were 2 different suits, I think. Maybe it's a whole new head sculpt?

Also, I think the Ebirah is tha same as the previous 2 releases.

Nice set!

Also, for any Judo nerds, that looks like a nice Ippon Seoinage!

not to toot my own horn (but I am), i posted a month ago about the set.

I'm going to compare the Goji that I have at the house with the photos to see if I can find anything else different.

I think all of the Hedo Gojis are damaged. They have one closed eye and the cut on the face, which doesn't show up on the red version.

The head sculpt looks the same on the one in the Ebirah set, except the eye.

It looks like there may be some differences in the Ebirah sculpt also. Maybe the claws are smaller?

CCP does some very creative stuff, I really like this set.

You can see that the arms are now closed to hold the claw during the fling - looks like a different head sculpt too. Ebira might be slightly smaller to handle being held at an angle.

If the vinyl can handle the combo hold and on one leg (as in the photo)...well then sirs, we have a winner! I'd love to see some balancing sculpts like that.

They had these on display at the last SuperFest, so I'm pretty sure you can pose it like that in real life (well, for a day at least. Not sure how well it'd stand up in an earthquake or something).

Might just be the pictures, but does anyone else think the paint apps on these are a bit lacking? A little bit of silver spray and painted eyes just doesn't seem up to CCP's usual standards...

Tough call on the paint app - I have some that the application is really subtle and multi-layered, where the photos didn't look like much but in "person" but when you see it then the detailing is a nice surprise.

On the flip-side...I did get in a new figure that was all black outside of a few silver sprays (and killer painted eyes). If I hadn't received a great deal on it then there would be room to complain :D

Also - CCP / Endo did confirm that Goji does stand on one foot as in the picture! SOLD!

That's true... a lot of Zollmen's stuff is like that, too. See the pictures and think "meh", but then you realize that they have subtle silver sprays or color fades or amazing paint jobs on the back of the figure.
