Personally I just want the Blobpus' so unless someone wants to go halfsies and nab the Cyclos, I can't afford it. For all 4 figures after yen-dollar and shipping it gets pricey.

Not that I dislike the Cyclo's, just can't swing both and I way prefer the Blobs, but I assume that's what a lot of folks want.

Got my Mandarake releases today, and let me say they are fucking amazing!

In the end I got Both cyclo's and the strawberry icecream blob. They are all incredible, I was pleasently susprised by the Strawberry blob. I have have a couple of the little blobs but are not mad keen on them, but I like Pink vinyl and really love the artwork on the sticker so I thought Id get it. I was amazed it comes in a real glass jar it is awesome! Its great on my desk!

Im a big collector of Dokugans so the Cyclos are really amazing for me! I thought Id like the pink the most- but the Blizzard fucking kills it! Ive said before and Ill say it again- blob pus is the best technical toy marker out there- he always pioneers material combinations and new formulas, and his colours are fucking awesome. The glitter in the vinyl in these figures is amazing- they are nice chunky big pieces. Blobpus is someone I really feel pushes to be the most inivitive with and creative with the materials available to him.

So the glitter is embedded in the vinyl, and not just sprayed over? Just curious because the ITY Cyclopus from last year had surface glitter that would flake off when I handled the toy.

Yeah a lot of the older Doku's had glitter on- but it was literally just glued onto the surface, in small specific places on the toy ( which I thought was amazing at the time) This is toy glitter 2.0!

The glitter flakes are about 3 times the size and mixed into the vinyl, so are all over the figure. The old glitter I assume would have been added last, but being as this glitter is in the Vinyl before the paint is applied there are some very nice and interesting effects with the paint over the top.

The Blizzard Dokugan arrived today. Stunning and gorgeous.
There looks to be a sheet of bunched up glitter inside the body.

When light shines on it, it radiates pink.
When no light is shining on it, you see green highlights.
Very nice touch.

This along with the GEM DX might be my favorites so far of 2009.

Has anyone managed to bag a Gem DX yet? I havnt seen any anywhere.

Yes. The paint on clear with innards is spectacular.
