Jay, you and I have similar taste in furniture. Love that Wassily chair and the Corbusier sofa.
Any idea who makes the glass table on wheels??

Oh, yeah, nice toy collection too!

Thanks!

The glass table I had it made after I saw this 50's coffee table from a book. The height and other specs are the same except for some details---its slightly different from the original, instead of the black-painted parts, I used stainless steel. Its pretty cheap actually, one of the DIYs of the home and been with me for 6 years.

is that a concrete door? really like the puzzle pieces on it.
very cool virtual tour.
like the artwork alot too.
is that a mural the artist was doing, or on panels?
the outdoor sculpture in the backyard is nice as well.
looks like a great place to live and raise a family.

The puzzle maindoor is made of steel plate and eight of an inch thick---the artist is Reg Yuson. Reg has been toying with steel metal puzzles for more than a decade now and has exhibited shows featuring these heavy steel puzzles here and abroad. Reg is fascinated with the puzzle's design, he said it is perfectly locked but at the same time, the image due to its curvilinear shape is so graceful and playfully moves. I asked his help and aksed if he could come up with a door using his steel puzzle. No easy to produce too---has to be laser cut to achieve that curvilinear lines. It is also a pain in the ass to install---it is 250 kilos heavy and took 8 people to carry and install.

The paintings are mostly by artist Louie Cordero--a very dear friend.

The sculpture in the backyard is done by Pete Jimenez--he makes sculpture out of scrap metal and found objects. This particular piece speaks to me because it has "TV" as a theme.

Thank you so much guys! I am so proud of this house and Im glad I could share it here with my SkullBrain brothers.

Nice pics. I actually don't think it fits that well with the Anraku stuff, seems like it might fit better with some M1 or something. I dunno, something about it there feels off. Even if I didn't know they were 2 different companies. What's weird is it doesn't seem "Zollmen" either, at least not this version. None of this a bad thing, I think it's cool for those reasons actually. But anyway, not my display/collection.

Yes, glad I took a shot at one of these. Yep, so much fun considering it has only two points of articulation. So much texture and hefty vinyl in hand. I might add crazy paint work!

I dunno J, seeing his photos, it is hard not to recognize that KP looks like a relation to the AA Cadium.

I think the King is slicker, not as "raw" I guess and the paint seems more heavy handed than Anraku. Again, not bashing it, shit I really want one myself!

FM, I didn't say King Pepora might look like a toy that might have been designed by AA---this is not what I mean.

In fact, no caption ever said that I was relating it to the Cadmium specifically--it was you who said it.

The design's 'random weirdness' if you may call it, reminds me of AA toys in general---of course both AA and Zollmen have their own different styles and approaches to designs.

I notice that in hand, the King Pepora's "rawness" maybe distinguishable in the physical sculpt, rather than the aesthetics. But then again there's the weirdness that appeals to me very much.

The King Bee version is really the best so far seconded by the black-hole version. I'd love to get the later...

Great pics Jay, I did some of this version too some time ago, I'll post them later here.

Stunning pics as usual.

I have the first version as well and it's definitely my favorite purchase this year! I'd go after the kingbee and black versions as well if my wallet allowed...
