I wasn't sold on Signallion when the pre-orders came out, but that close up is great. Nice shot! What do you think of the sculpt overall?

It's ok. It's got some nice Matango style bumps, I was actually thinking of popping a Marmit Matango head on the body. But it's just ok.

Now check out this Woo:

Mechagodzilla pilot Akane is from 2002. Got her from the sales section here.

Sweet pic of the Signallion. I am waiting on him and that Woo as well. Seeing your pics makes me fiend even more for them.
I thought the red on Signallion looked more metallic in the pics...
but my memory is not what it used to be.

Awesome!

There's only 12 of these out there.

I've been thinking about painting mine, but it's really cool unpainted as well.

that's a beaut hyper. denboku makes some of my favorite toys, and they're pretty much the pride and joy of my collection. I just scored my grail piece the other day, which happens to be denboku. take the bunny out of the bag and lets see it!

great piece. almost looks like it would sit well on the edge of a shelf w/the legs hanging over. not that I would want to place a toy in such a potentially hazardous position.

She can"t even sit. Here she is finally shelved with other Tezuka characters (Jetter Mars, Robita):

*NOT SOFUBI* I don't collect car toys, but when I first saw this a couple of years ago---I knew I would end up owning one. Recently I spotted it on sale and I pulled the trigger.

It's a 1/18th scale heavily modified 1973 Australian XB GT Ford Falcon Coupe (Black on Black).
I believe it was in some movie or something...

A looong wait, but I finally got my Marmit Alien. I know there's a lot of Aliens out there these days---action figures, statues, big expensive dolls---but this is the toy that always shoulda been. Barring the Kenner OG (one of the best toys ever) this vinyl is my absolute favorite Alien. This toy oozes Bullmark charm, while keeping faithful to the original Giger suit. It's got a whole lot of hard sci-fi detail and those vintage birthing hips.

I was surprised to discover the dome is clear, with a painted skull. The pic on the Marmit site shows a painted or solid dome. The painted silver bits, prone to chipping on Marmits, are intact. And sharply applied, I might add.

7 points of articulation and it stands unassisted.

I've been thinking about trying to find one of those for a while now. At last week's Superfest, there was a clear black with glitter one released:

Damn that's so awesome! I have a lot of Alien stuff including an OG Kenner but I had told myself no more Alien stuff a long time ago (it was getting out of hand!)...now I want the whole set of new Marmits... Alien & the astronauts!

Did you happen to get any of the astronauts?

Long time no post.

No REdYOdA, I didn't get the astronauts that go w/ the Alien.

I did, however, just get back from S7 w/ some new loot!

This is the M1GO Monmoth (black vinyl), a true beauty:

I guess it was my day to buy toys w/ writing on the bases...

Next is Fewture/Art Storm's Human Vapor. This is Chinese Vinyl, but I don't care---it's just too strange and cool:
