Re: Toy Event listing - MORE UPDATES! .. dang!
Do you know if there are going to figures for sale at the "Urban Vinyl" show???? just looked at the roster - it seems pretty intense! (OVERSEAS) Bwana Spoons / Martin Ontiveros / Le Merde / Koji Harmon / Brian Flynn(Super7) / SCRAPPERS / Kiyoshi Nakazawa / Mark Nagata (Max Toy Company) (JAPAN) Gargamel / Katope / Charactics/ Cronic /T9G / Linden / Sunguts / Itokin Park / M1号 / Toshikazu Nozaka / Butanohamna / HARIKEN / Zarigani Works / BLObPUS / VINYL JUNKIES / TTToy and many many more... Also just realized that the gallery is around the corner from my office which means I can go there every day during lunch

What's the address for Kaiju Blue? I read your blog but couldn't figure out the shop's location.

Re: Toy Event listing - apparently yes...
Here's the address for Marui One (Kaiju Blue is on the first floor) for those (like me) who know squat about Tokyo department stores. Took a while to hunt it down, since there are a ton of Marui dept stores in Shinjuku. Plug it into Google Maps and you'll be good to go:
東京都新宿区新宿3-1-20

Any Pachisummit pics, DATADUB? KT's coverage (thanks for posting the link, abe!) is missing a few of the dealers.

Re: Toy Event listing - March is relentless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love these new figures. The big guy is the new Shuttlegon from dokurotarou. The pink one is a new version of Zunougon, green one is space monster Mow. The little purple/grey one in front is Kaiju-Seijin

Awesome! Yamomark made that guy into a full size. And love the new Elegab sculpts. Screw the Maza, the Shuttlegon kicks ass.

Re: Toy Event listing - March is relentless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yea, I am intrigued by that Yamomark figure. Some of their mini sculpts are amazing, and I'm excited to see a full size of one of them. My only problem is that I don't collect stuff that looks heavily detailed (think: most CCP stuff), so the skin texture on Yamobazooka kind of bugs me. Still, awesome figure. And Elegab continues to slay. I want all of his new releases! He takes the whole 'rough sculpt' thing to a whole new level with his color choices. Zunogon and Honegon are honestly some of my favorite toys to come out in some time, and Shuttlegon, Mow and Kaiju Seijin don't disappoint at all. While on Elegab, check out these two new sculpts alongside a new Mimigiras:

Re: Toy Event listing - March is relentless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Shuttlegon was definitely the star of the show. For my own edification I studied up a bit on DokuroTarou and Elegab. Dokuro Taro is the name of a fictional Tokusatsu character, and under this name they have released various art and works. A few years back Rumble Monsters made a figure of Dokuro Taro (Wrath Mode) Now they are releasing figures themselves under the Elegab Workshop name. (Elegab is short for Electric Gaburon, an electricity-powered kaiju) and Dokuro Taro is the Character Series name. You can see more of the characters here
