From another thread here I was curious about google maps. Checked to see if my apartment was on there and bam there it was. Even saw my car a little down the block !

If you google your address does you place show up ?

my sis sent me an email titled "look familiar?" a couple of weeks ago. I clicked on the link she sent, and there was my house. complete with my car right in the driveway. I could even roughly place the day it was taken by the flowers my wife had just planted in the front garden. really, really creepy feeling.

I'm curious how these are taken. Its a 360 shot in the middle of the day in traffic. Chapel St is MADNESS during this time.

one of the best google maps is this drunk guy from austrailia. He was obviously not pleased.

Ha ha, I thought this was a shot from a video game for a moment.

It's a truck that drives around with one of those 360 degree cameras (like the ones they use for virtual tours of houses). It just drives slow and the camera rotates. Crazy stuff. They haven't come through my neighborhood yet.

I would like to see other peoples neighborhoods. Just don't use you exact address, use one a block or so away.

I just spent the last hour searching out the houses I grew up in and the neighborhoods and parks I played at when I was a kid. Now I think I'm depressed.

My house is on there and they must have recently done a street view cause it wasn't up before.

Our neighbor is always home, and her creepy cat is in the window according to google!

My house is on there. We knew that our house use to be white/blue, but this is the first time I've seen it in its previous colorway!

I went back to my old house back when my family and I were living there in 1984 in Sydney. The whole street , houses, trees and the dead end road is the same. Gave me the chills looking at it. Hong Kong changes every week and I forget that back home things move a lot different.
