the head almost looks like the back of an old television set--before they started making them to look like poptarts.

as long as the bottom half of him doesn't do anything dumb, I'm trying to get one.

Yeah the saucers seem kinda half-baked. At that price, you'd think they'd have retractable landing gear.

I caved and bought one out of curiosity but I can't see getting anymore.

And how do you display them? Just sitting on a shelf seems lame.
Maybe if I find a clear arm and base it could hover above something.

nice Jeb!

also, was anyone else surprised that the cup area that the trooper sits in was GID on this saucer...I felt like that was a cool detail. I love this one, but it will probably be the only one I buy unless there's a pink one...

Didn't realize that the outer cockpit was GID. Always looked kind of odd to me versus painting it.
Is the cockpit removable?

this is what I was surprised by as well, but I really like it...it's a cool use of GID...and I'm not usually into the glow thing...

I love robots...but this guy is an easy pass. too goofy.

I really think the last 2 standard size releases from Toygraph, the diver-ish one and the sea alien one would have been much better served being made on the scale of the troopers...and this one would be better small too...but still silly...

I don't think these are anything to do with the Space troopers, so the change of scale shouldn't come as any real surprise.

These don't seem to be getting such a positive reaction, but Toygraph have said that the Troopers were designed with the foreign market in mind. I presume some Japanese 50's robot fanatics are going mental over these.
