At one point in the PC version you could push the witch around too. Was pretty funny when the survivors would open the door and the witch is right there waiting.

I guess they had to fix it once infected starting pushing cars in front of entrances or sewer holes making it impossible for survivors to finish the level.

Hahahahaha well, in that case, yeah it's a bit crappy, but funny. But when it was just garbage cans and forklifts and crap, I didn't have an issue with it. They WERE movable if you had the right stuff, and in that case fair game.

If I was a survivor and got stuck and didn't have some explosive, I'd just applaud my rivals for out witting me. The last time I played and everything was still movable me and all the other people were always like "does someone have a pipe bomb for when the elevator opens?" Gotta plan.

Anyone here played the zombie game in Call of Duty WaW? Have to say I like it a tad better than L4D.

I have...it's pretty fun! How far have you made it? I think I have made it to level 22.

There is a FREE downloadable pack coming out for L4D that is going to have a new survival mode (close to zombie mode in COD) and a bunch of other stuff!

What's zombie mode? Is it just wave after wave of zombies like Gears of War 2 horde mode?

Anyone know for sure if they patched up the breaking-down-the-door option on the Sewer level on the 360? I haven't done it in forever, just seems more worth it to hit the lift and face the horde, but someone told me the other night while playing that it's been "fixed?"

If so, damn, I hate all this "fixing" they're doing! All of it was cool, you just had to be good enough to deal with it. Ugh, oh well. I still love playing the hell out of it.

I kind of liked how before if you knew the deal you could use the environment to slow down survivors, it's not like one side was more disadvantaged than the other, since both could do it. One of the only fixes i agree with is making the witch and tank spawn at the same place...although the second team has plenty of warning to prepare, it's still more fair than say...the tank spawning before the survivors even leave the safe room, which sucks. It's just too bad how now there's no point in carrying around a pipebomb to blow shit out of your way, and to me that was very satisfying. :/

I didn't know about the witch/Tank patch, that's actually an improvement. But yeah, I feel like a lot of character has been taken away with the removal of some of that stuff. It made it so interesting, will there be a truck in my way or not?

There's still KIND of a way to do it, you just have the Tank throw junk in the paths, makes it harder to pass, but wastes precious survivor-killing time.

I'm loving the game, but have mixed feelings about the online play. Mostly, it's from the folks that I've been playing with. No one wants to play as a team and will leave you behind in a heartbeat! The folks that DO play as a team get crazy mad if you don't do what they want!

Granted, this is just from joining quick matches.

Sounds awesome! I thought we were just getting new levels, but a new play mode is cool too. I was kind of getting burnt out on it and haven't played in a bit. Glad there's something hitting to re-spawn my interest.

True, there's only so many times you can play those 2 maps without it getting stale. I haven't played for a while (mostly because SF4 and Resident Evil 5) but it'll be fun going back. Can't believe I'm so excited for an extension pack

Here's how to do the power shot exploit... This lets you blast out your entire clip on either the uzi or the assault rifle in 2 seconds.

For the XBOX 360:

Have your pistol out first. Press Left trigger and Y at the same time. (If you keep meleeing
after you press both buttons you're doing it wrong. You should have your m16 or
an Uzi in your hand. It only works with these weapons )

After holding both Left trigger and Y, keep holding Left Trigger. (You can release Y)
While still holding Left Trigger, HOLD Right Trigger AT THE SAME TIME.

Wait about 5 or 6 seconds, THEN RELEASE Left Trigger while still HOLDING Right Trigger.

I'm going to have to try that exploit, evilrabbitry. I'm afraid it might be gone now with the Survival Mode update, but we'll see (maybe you can confirm / deny).

Anyone else still playing? I am hopelessly addicted to this game. Playing on Expert with a good team is such a rush when you're doing well.

I can't wait to get home and try out Survival!
