Early 70's Takara had the licence to produce the GI Joe bodies. From these GI Joe toys they made them clear and included the engine innards and thus came Henshin Cyborg. Waldar was the villain created for the Henshin Cyborg story line. The Dokuro King, Satan King etc. are all sub forms of King Waldar - or they were among the various suits you could put on the King Waldar bodies in the same way you could get various suits for Henshin himself. Waldar bodies came in green, red, yellow and a rare blue and had organic innards instead of the cyborg ones of Henshin Cyborg.
The Dokuro King above is the late 90's vinyl version of Waldar as Dokuro King.
The actual Waldar body being sold in the buy/sell is a re-issue of the original 70's Waldar toy.
There is no story for the Obitsu bodies. They are just bodies to put any suit or costume on - from the boutique suits of SB and Skulltoys to WW2 army uniforms.
There isn't any innards or brain parts in them. They just come in clear, black or flesh. Basically just GI Joes.

Thanks for the info!
Here is a pic of the one I have ordered.
I like it in part just because of its minimal design. But from the info above, I take it that I could dress him up if I wanted to.

Geo - for sure you can dress him up. No worries there. Either with SB suits or vintage/repro henshin stuff.
That's not just a straight Obitsu body you have there though Geo. Another manufacturer has taken the Obitsu body and added an original head sculpt based on an old Microman character/toy from the 70's.

Skulltoys have started Obitsu bodies with their Skull suits lately too.
