Bryce I thought you read the book? It is one manga, by one man. It has only a few toy pictures between chapters. Did it read like a coffee table book of batman in Japan written edited by Chip Kidd with content by borrowed from multiple sources or like a manga written by Kuwata? I thought it was much more of the latter.

If Burns did a "documentary" on Atlas Shrugged, and that documentary was just retelling the story using the pages from the book AND never mentioned Ayn Rand, then this would be analogous.

the alex ross and jack cole books that kidd did totally ruled, so that, imo, gives him free grounds to rip off any work and release it as his own. i would.

and getting back to the link on the original post, i noticed that majority wanted to be superman if they could pick a super-powered character to be. i think kryptonite hangovers would totally blow. i never want to experience one. also, supes has so many flaws. i mean, a magician pulling a rabbit out of a hat could more or less kick his ass.....if he was using actual magic to pull out that rabbit and not some fake visual trick. in truth, if i could be any superpowered being, i would be Darkseid. definitely.

I was also kind of disappointed by most of the answers to that question. If I were listing my passion in life as "Aspiring Comic Artist" I hope I could give a better answer than "Supes, coz he can totally fly".

(my answer would totally be Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star because he shows us that all problems in life can be solved by punching dudes in the face, FYI)
