On the hand paints absolutely. But since this is made in China, most Chinese factories require a decent number to be produced if they work with you. I may be totally wrong, and don't know what these guys have planned for runs and editions, but if you miss here I'd think you should have a shot at a future release retail no problem. just my thoughts.

joel obviously can speak best to this but yeah...manufacturing in china means a production run of at least 500. i hear a lot of places actually boosted their minimums to 1000 in 2009 as well. shit ain't getting cheaper for the little guy that's for sure...

Just got back from Mishka. First off, everything looked awesome, saw some kids in there just lighting up they could be there buying Mishka goods in store. I'm not going to ruin all the mystery but I'll give some details. I am the proud father of a bootleg kaiju and these jpgs do not do the sculpt justice, and even though it's Chinese vinyl it looks great. Comes with both heads. There are 2 hanpaints, they're not for sale, if they were there would be 1 right now, Lamour said they might go up for raffle tonight, if you manage to somehow score one you're a lucky sonofabitch. . There are blank white figures there, that's what I got, I'm not going to say how many, or how much, but it's a small edition, and Lamour said this is the only time the whites will be released. So go get yourself the first Bootleg Kaiju, and enjoy the sculpt, because the white highlights all the gnarly detail like a mother.

A big +1 on that. One way to go around the large run deal is to do the min. run required by the factory but have it all unpainted. Then when you get it home just set a aside XX number of blanks and hand paint a colorway, repeat till the run is all gone. To give it variety you can dye the vinyl into a new base color then paint it.

hey guys. It was cool seeing some skullbrainers today. I'm utterly exhausted as I was helping set up last night till 4. The handpaints will be for sale tonight. Only 2. The great thing about working with the manuf. is that they're giving Mike and Greg complete control on the amount on runs. From the beginning, they wanted to do only small runs just like real kaiju. This will probably it for the whites. I'll confirm with Greg. Only 15 blanks in store. More heads and bodies in the future. Hope to see more SBers tongiht and thank you all for the support. I will get back to everyone but I'm on temporary comput. right now

Just got back from the show. One HP left and a couple white blanks. The HP was absolutely insane. The colors really really popped. I hate saying that the pictures don't do it justice but they really don't. If I hadn't gotten a different special something there would definitely be no HP's left.

Yup the HPs are AMAZING for sure, I had to grab one of them . Joel can do no wrong with paint on any surface !

I wonder if the other HP will sell in store or go up somewhere. From what I heard you have to be in Brooklyn to get it though, exclusive.

I was looking at the pics, and although they are very similar there are a few differences. Oddly there are a few scuffs in the paint and a few areas where the gloss isn't as shiny, has that bootleg feel for sure its very cool. I must say even for Chinese vinyl they are made very well. The quality is very good and thick, the 2 heads pop on and off easily. My only issue is deciding which head to keep on for now

I also grabbed the new boogie. Man, and I'm not just saying this, until the next Mishka release ( I have a clue of what it will look like ) comes out none of the other boogies I have held in hand beat it, and this is without paint. The goat head mask is HUGE ! and when the led glows the vinyl has a beautiful blue/purple hue. The header matches the figure so well I dont want to take it out the bag. Its like a part of it and needs to be shown off along with the figure.
