 Inspire vinyls
I got my first Inspire vinyl figure and it is the Mirrorman monster Aion.
Now, I was expecting this toy to come boxed but it was bagged with a header card.
I know board members went ga-ga over the Inspire Nova Ultraman monster...did this vinyl come bagged as well?
If you have an Inspire vinyl, list it...please

 Re: Inspire vinyls
These are my inspire vinyls, and they all came in boxes except for the Dowarukin toy (the guy on the right with the spikes on his head). It came bagged w/header. Nova and Woo in the back were boxed as well. They are (left to right): Back row: Nova (Halloween), Woo (1/6 Ver, came w/Kubrick) Middle: Anne Yuri (Ultra Seven), Lum, Amia (Ultraman), Dowarukin (Ganbaron) Front: Red Baron, Ganbaron, Tetsujin Pretty cool toys, more of an action-figure sense of proportion to them.

 Re: Inspire vinyls
Inspire was credited for those Gundam tub toys (Kapool, Mermaid Gundam, etc.), although they are not named on the toy or packaging. To my knowledge, these were only sold at certain hobby shows.
Maybe Roger can weigh in on this.

 Re: Inspire vinyls
The Inspire Mitsukubi (3-headed Spectreman kaiju) came in bag/header. The Inspire Spectreman came boxed. Those are the only 2 Inspire vinyls I own and they look great together.

 Re: Inspire vinyls
I've seen Dowarukin before but I seem to have forgotten how awesome he is. Great looking toy right there.

 Re: Inspire vinyls
I've actually been wanting to ask someone about Inspire toys. Is there variation in the quality and type of vinyl, or is it all fairly standard? I keep almost placing an order, but just haven't done it yet.

Softness and weight of the vinyl all seems pretty much the same, being pretty pliable. When you have them in your hand you can see they're really high quality, both in vinyl and paint. Inspire seems to use both really glossy vinyl, as well as a dull matte vinyl. Both feeling the same in weight/softness. Really, Inspire stuff seems kind of a stretch from most of the vinyl I collect, but there's something about them I just really like. The action-figure proportions just make you want to play around with em. Definitely high quality Japanese vinyls, I wouldn't hesitate to pick up a few if you're curious. Plus, most of them come in really cool cardboard window boxes.

 Re: Inspire vinyls
thanks for the info. I really like the yellow and red guy with the white face that is in the middle of your pic. Great character.

 Re: Inspire vinyls
Inspire's quality is top-notch. Might not look like it, but those are made by the same people in the same places as a lot of the more "artsy" J-vinyl.

They are cool - they are like Bandai figures of minor heros - I love them. Makes you also realize the difference in cost you can get by doing volume in China as opposed to boutique in Japan. I hope they do a Redman and a Hyuman!!! those would rule! d

 Re: Inspire vinyls
I only own the Spectreman line, and what I can say about them is that they lean on the more "realistic" side of the rendition of the characters.
The Mitsukubi is really amazing, with very detailed scultping & fine paint job. A bit like CCP's style but scaled down. And the size is what I like the least in the series, too small.
They did some Space Adventure Cobra vinyl items some years ago, and those were giant size. Kaiju this size made by them would rock !
