Re: Sometimes it's awesome to live in Japan
If those are the camo zags, then I hope gargamel is releasing the two zags from those allocated for US sales and not the 15 that are supposed to be "lottery" from the ArtShocker show. Otherwise, it will make a mockery out of "lottery" as they announced. I think the spirit of a "lottery" should also be upheld if they announced it that way and respect fans who have entered for the lottery. Nothing against logang and stealth, both my friends, who flew all the way for the show, that is true fan dedication. If I am a maker, I would also truly be pleased to have such dedicated fans.

I'l concur with Joe, both of those Zag customs almost made my head explode! Gargamel has been on a custom tear lately.

Re: Sometimes it's awesome to live in Japan
Don't get me wrong. Living in Japan is cool but try being a vegetarian here. It's like going over to my Grandma's house all over again. Everything is totally vegetarian it just has a little bit of bacon in it. This on the other hand totally makes up for all of that.

Those are Dehara's Killer Tomato (right) and Killer Cabbage (left) along with their mini figures in the front row. Not that i didn't want to before, but after seeing the pickups in this thread, I reeeeeally want to visit Japan someday. Great eye candy folks, thanks for sharing.

Ah, thank you - I've had a feeling I had seen them before somewhere, but never made the connection and don't know Dehara's stuff too well (obviously).

I seem to remember a pre-order or something for them...but can't remember the details. Josh may know...I'll check back in my emails. Jason and Scott get all the goodies. Some amazing pieces there...but oddly enough the one that drives me most crazy is the unpainted yellow Globby. arrgh! Damn you world travellers!

missy wrote: What's up with those birds? I really really like them. How much? anyone know where to get them? They where made by I believe Murakami ? ( I have to check the header) a while ago. But he stopped making them after maybe 2 to 3 runs. They are very cool. I just wish I scored the other sets. I have been wanting the yellow vinyl w/green spray. I also think there was a red vinyl version. The set I think was 30 bucks. I would love to buy the molds off him and start making and painting them again.
