 hedorah marmit question...
this is my favorite hedo sculpt: does anyone know how many "colorways" or "versions" or whatever this mold is done in? and pictures would rule too!

 Re: hedorah marmit question...
This Marmit version is IMO the one that closest resembles the hedorah from the movie. I was just watching it the other night and my case was right next to the TV so I kept having to do a double take! I have the GID version and had the blue painted. Highly recommend tracking one down.

Pic stolen from Flickr (and I think a board member's too, sorry about that!) But these giant Marmit Hedorahs are pretty much the best things EVER: My kingdom for an apartment large enough to display them...

 Re: hedorah marmit question...
That pic is from Ian's (smogmonster) flickr. I think those were the first monster heaven hedorah and are huge. 13 inches. 2002 is the year. 2004 for the other version.

 Re: hedorah marmit question...
The really crazy thing is Marmit actually came out with a set of Hedorahs that are even bigger than those. Someone on here has one. Maybe they will favor us with a pic?

Gabbagabba. This is the only pic I could find, the other pic showing the full figure wasn't working:

 Re: hedorah marmit question...
don't forget the clear orange sparkle version that came out a few years ago = I think that was either S7 or Max Toy version. I looked at the one I have and it just has "marmit" on the bottom so I might be mistaken

 Re: hedorah marmit question...
Did all of the orange/sparkle have the white spray on the top of the head, or were there some that only had painted eyes? Whatever the case, I love the white-topped sparkle orange - it's the best!

 Re: hedorah marmit question...
The main Marmit Hedorah sculpts:
Monster Heaven 13 inch (smogmonster pic above) 2002 Monster Heaven 9 inch 2004 like the glow pic above, maxtoy version etc etc Marmit Giant Hedorah kind of like the extended version of the 9 inch only 14 inches (you've seen pics of this guy in Mori's shop- came in hawaiian, tokyo, grey colors etc etc) 2005 Marmit Second Mold Hedorah- glow or grey- the one that looks hunched over 2006 Marmit Mega Giant Hyper HobbyHedorah- like the pic above, I think this guy was 2 and half feet?

 Re: hedorah marmit question...
yeah, that's the one! the eyes I have are white, yellow, red pupils - I wonder if that's the same in the photo but different eyes due to a flash? Either way, it's one of the cooler hedorah's that I have

 Re: hedorah marmit question...
my mtc orange glitter version is the same as your's ccp. i think that photo is a bit off. i also have a marmit globster version of hedorah. it is a different sculpt, not quite as much of a shelf hog, it has a smaller tail. this one has both glitter and glow vinyl underneath-the best of both worlds. i was always blown away at the craftmanship that went into it. here's one hand-although my crappy pic doesn't do justice to the glitter imbedded in the translucent blue on gid.

I feel an updated shelf pic coming on... My giant Marmits are some of my favourite Hedorahs I'm running out of room but couldn't resist another 2 of these guys (orange and dark green) just waiting for them to arrive! More pics later...

the one on the left (darker) is a different company/sculpt altogether. It's by Marusan. Wasn't your eyes playing tricks

The Globsters double-pull Hedorah is a work of art. That thing is so nice!!! Some of the candy-case Hedorahs are also very cool.
