HAHAHA Take that! Ya bastid!
Obviously Mr Rebel Ink was getting above his station trying to climb up a shelf before he'd earned the right... Mr Boogie wasn't happy.

So yeah... In case you are wondering, The Rebel Ink's arms DON'T move!!! so don't try.
I didn't... my mate did, just after I said they don't....

See?

I'm not actually particularly happy about it, just making the best of a bad situation.
It's just a toy... right?

maybe so, but it didn't come cheap. I'd be a little bothered. I'm sorry about the accident, man.

looks like the glue or tacky that held the vinyl pieces together tore. interesting there is some crosshatching in there to help the glue take better.

srry for your troubles, backtrack. I would think some type of vinyl-safe glue would set him straight again.

Yeah, I don't know to be honest.
The arm is hollow and looks like the extra that would normally hold it in has been cut off, so the arm is glued in and then the chrome put over top.
The only real long term damage is a minor bit of chipping on the back side of the arm where the chrome cracked.
A bit of super glue should sort it out as that looks like all that was used in the first place.
The hatching on the body actually makes no sense at all, looks like they never bothered to cut out that opening and that's just the raw vinyl part.

Thanks for the support guys, I knew I could count on you guys. No one else seems to appreciate my pain.

Lol. Fortunately it did not happen to me.
But it did to a buddy.
He sent me the pic to ask how it can be repaired.
So now there are two of you who needs medical attention on their RI.

This is weird, they must have made a new mold for this release. The other RI have oval joints. And although the arms dont really move ( you can move them) This is totally different from the other RI.

Very good to know NOT to move the arms on these guys, VERY delicate it seems.

Should be the same.
Both pics show oval joint areas.

The difference is that the extra arm bits have been trimmed off and the hole that they go in has been left sealed and the arm is just glued on.
You can always check for yourself

I am really surprised to hear that the arms on this "premium" black are glued on and not connected like other RIs.
A disappointment coming from SB.

On a sidenote, it appears that the Japan release of this premium black RI will be exactly the same as NYCC's.

NOT TRUE! The Elegab Misslelas (spelling?) has an ovalish joint and it moves. It's stiff and awkward to do so....but it does!

I also never have had a RI, had no clue about that. Weird, that sucks for both Joe's friend and backtrack.

Weird, if the arms are seperate from the body anyway, and require molds, I wonder why they just didn't articulate them. They probably just could have extended the inside of the arm up to make a rounder joint for smoother twisting.
