are these more limited somehow?
or are we just gonna see a rash of flipping because of all the comments on here?

I somehow think that they are more rare than Brian and Ramos might've initially thought... it kinda sounded like they thought they'd have a bunch of them, but it sounds like they probably got around 15 or so.

Came home this pm to find an email from TT sent this am saying they were almost available & now find out here they sold out almost immediately. Jesus, if all the new releases are like this, SB may be too stressful for my delicate constitution

SB can be that way... for the most part, almost every S7 Secret Base release I've gone up to the store for has sold out while I was in the store.

I'm with you. I didn't mean to use your quote as an prologue to my rant.
I'd just like to think the people picking these up are genuinely interested in SB etc and not flippers and trend-jumpers.

I think most are. My second by was a the S7/misfit set. I wasnt feeling it so I sold it.
So maybe these are someones new venture into SB. And maybe they wont like it and sell or keep and and become part of the rest of us.
Nothing wrong with that.
Give the benifit of the doubt brotha.

Note to TT shoppers!!!
This has made my life a TON easier!
I can never seem to get my password to work even though i wrote it down right after i made it... and since it's attatched to my regular email address, the checkout rejects me if i put in that email address....
most of us have AT LEAST a few email addresses..
if you want to get through TT fast give them a totally different email addy from your normal one, and don't try to sign in with your password!!!
it's a helluva a lot easier than trying to have a personal relationship with a
finicky checkout system. IMO

i always have to request a new password

asking when my order will ship and 3 days later getting a call
ohh well we are out of one item so um..
so you were just gonna hold the rest of them?

No you're right. Gotta give new folks the benefit of the doubt.
I guess we've been pretty lucky. It's been almost totally flipper free here.

Very true pretty much flipper free.
And what I like about this community is when there is something for sale its usually at a good price which is usually close to retail.
And when its at flipper prices this board will let it be know untill the item is lowered or taken elsewhere.
I like how we keep it in the family

No harm nop foul John. I understand the "excuse". I get them all the itme from E-bay bidders - sorry my computer was down, my little brother bid on that.... beleive me I am beginning to beleive a lot (not people on SB mind you) are a bunch of liars in this hobby of collecting. It doesn't matter where you go.
I am sorry to hear that people are having problems trying to get the plushie Blueberry Brain. Good Luck all!

Just to clarify, for the above statement, we received a bunch of these skullbrians, even more then we did the latest barbarian, in fact, more than almost all releases lately, and they still blew out immediately. I think people like the inner "Amoeba Man" as well as the fact that it is a SkullBrain. I was surprised how quick they went.

That was the clincher! . . . together with the fact it's so different to any other Brain out there!
I'm real curious to see how the fast the other figures (Obake, Barbarian etc) get snapped up!

You realize, by having just said that, that the obake is now guaranteed to be the last one to be released...
