Small YJA box; Help ID Please!
New edit: Okay now. On this first shot who are the 2 on the left? Couldn't resist 'em but don't know 'em. What's the leftmost guy saying? "Hey! I'm talkin' to you! Yeh, I gotta teapot on my head. Don't mess with me, I'll jack you up. And I can dance just as good as I talk." Just don't know what that's about. Gotta be a good story. Second shot, more minis and the biggest toy eraser I've found to date. Yay Xabungle! So, with the economy sucking and the upcoming visit to SF and all, I got a small box from Japan yesterday. Here's the first piece: On the left is a 1994 translucent Bemular by Bandai (!) Had to get it, pretty cheap and looks great in the light. Piece on the right? Fugedabowdit. Leftover from what I did for the show on the 18, borged the photo from something else I was messing with.

Wow! That is a really spiffy electric blue Bemular! I've never seen that! I love the little Bullmark Kamereking (second photo, first toy on the left). Do you know what figure is that teeny tiny little red monster that teapot-man is pointing at? Looks like he's saying, "bad monster! go to your room! no mealworms for dinner! Great box of toys--thanks for sharing the pics!

He has it down as a pachi unknown thing and it has no markings at all, so I'd guess it's just a nicely sprayed boot. and melek; yes the noupa guys are disturbing. Wish I could get some really big ones to put out on the lawn with the plastic flamingos and the blow molded baltan. Would help keep the door to door types away, but this is the midwest, so I'd probably get cited.

The Teapot Gut is from UFO Kamen Yakisoban, a movie made to promote instant noodles back in the 90's. That's the bad guy, Kettler, who was played by Dave Spector in the movie. So you know what that means... there's gotta be a Yakisoban figure out there somewhere too!

Never knew that I needed it before, but need it I do! And yes you all the bear yokai make for great happiness! Any of you sculptor types out there down to do a 28" high blow-molded, mass-produced Noupa lawn figure? I promise garish, harsh color and perhaps an attachment for a lawn hose so that it can be used as a sprinkler. Got a spot open for packaging design, marketing, sales/placement and ohh yeah... need a venture capital person.

I know you figured out who the teakettle guy is, but he looks like he'd fit in perfectly as a villain (or hero) from the Tick. he could be chairface chippendale's cousin, steamtop stanley.
