 Resident Evil 5
Anyone got it? Bad, good? I picked it up the other day because TRU had a buy 1 get 1 half off deal on games, and I loved RE4.
Haven't had a chance to jump in yet, but figured someone here might have gotten it. Also, since it's 2 player now, I thought I'd see if anyone wanted to blast some Umbrella ass soon.

 Re: Resident Evil 5
It's great as long as you have someone else to play it with. But the way to get into the game is a mess compared to something like L4D or TF2. It's good fun though, there have been some moments where me and my friend have been like OH SHIT!

 Re: Resident Evil 5
I enjoyed it. The bosses are great and overall it feels like RE4. Not that RE4 was that spooky (I did like the chanting monks), RE5 is even less spooky but the action is intense. Mercenaries is a lot of fun. My only gripe is that you should be able to move and shoot at the same time like Dead Space.

 Re: Resident Evil 5
Can you play the game solo with the AI? I have read that it's very difficult to do so.

Yeah, you can play solo with the AI Sheva. It is pretty good gameplay, she doesn't get in the way too much, can hold onto extra items, and saves Chris when he's dying. I have only played solo and have obtained most of the trophies. There are a couple that can only be obtained through coop play.

I like that you can toggle up/down/left right in game play to switch weapons as well as do reloads I enjoyed playing solo and with some one else....now going through it again with all weapons

 Re: Resident Evil 5
This game rules! I was a bit skeptical about the AI of Sheva, since the damn girl in RE4 just always got in your way, but the AI was actually pretty good and helpful.

 Re: Resident Evil 5
Sweet just played a bit and love it. Upsides- It took what was great about the RE4 controls and upped them, having 2 players is great, the new setting is beautiful and it's not just regurgitating the same old same old. Downsides- Not many, but my first time in I played with a dude who already beat it, though cool to have a vet with me and get passed some tougher parts, it also took away from the suspense. Particularly due to him having tons of crazy weapons and a huge inventory.
If anyone wants to play tonight or tomorrow, let me know. NO I don't have VS. mode yet because I'm cheap.

 Re: Resident Evil 5
Is anyone here still playing this on Versus?
I got it awhile ago but didn't really play much, but lately I've started to again.
