Right on, so I'm current with all the captains sweet :) .

I have made it a point to try and stick with only the FHP releases.

O while where at it I need a few FHP pirates, I scored the SDCC 08 with purplish skin. I need all the others, yes I have the itch :)

Most of the SDCC pirates are FHP and vice versa.

edit- Shit! I'll have to sort out that cobweb... These guys are on a shelf in my stair way, so as you go up they are looking at you, subsequently, I don't tend to notice the dust build up... I'll fix that now

edit 2 - I am pretty much of the opinion that the only pirates worth owning are the FHPs (yeah yeah and the HPs, but I live in the real world). I don't have the blood (yet) from pics I have seen, does he at least slip into FHP? or not? Also is he translucent red? or opaque?

Hmm, is the blue a pusfan variant and not considered a FHP ?

Cool, now I know what I need to track down :)

The Blood is nice, in my opinion, especially with the translucent red.

the pirate released at NYCC, while not a FHP, is also a notable addition. Really bright red and great in my opinion.

I set up this shelf based on the "FHP/HP" look, with a couple exceptions:

I'd maybe add the Ozo too if I had some space...

Total Derail -
Anyone else feeling that the bottle pirates have been lacking in quality?

Also, I am happy to relieve anyone of the burdens they may feel from owning a blood or NYCC pirate. :D

It took me AGES to get my hands on a rusty, so I am patient.

I love the bottlehelds, and didn't notice any lack in quality. I love the Ozobozo, the most, one with the metallic paints and non-conventional vinyl color.

Arin- That shelf is AWESOME!

I completely agree. The OzoBozo is the nicest pirate to come out in a while. IMO. I hope Pus decides to use the orka vinyl color on the captain as well.

Not a FHP, but I also liked Shake (on the left) from the Shake/Float set:

shake/float kicks ass!

I was just disappointed in the pain apps on them (I apologise to the powers that be).

Why are they sloppy, or you just like the color combo ?

i with you on the last bottle pirate. it left me underwhelmed with it's paint. the other 2 in the series were much stronger.
