Re: Oprah + Colonel = free chicken
Just got some two hours ago. Food was cold and the chicken pieces were extremely small and only the meat on the drumstick was good enough to eat. This was EXTREMELY greasy. I threw the other piece to my dogs. Ugh. Atleast the mash potatoes were good. Hate complaining about free food but I drove a half hour to go get this so I was a little pissed, but yea, if you got a KFC near you do it. It's free!

eewww. I have one a block away but I think I might pass.
I should print out a boat load of these and hand them out to the homeless.

Re: Oprah + Colonel = free chicken
Why would somebody decide that grilled chicken was a good fit for a chain called: Kentucky Fried Chicken
Stick with what works!

We had KFC this past Sunday and it was really good (Hot and fresh). The new GRILLED chicken is good, but kinda greasy.

Re: Oprah + Colonel = free chicken
The flavor of the grilled chicken isn't bad. It is a bit greasy though. And it's fucking small as hell. Would definitely not order it normally.

Re: Oprah + Colonel = free chicken
I live near a local fried chicken place that Oprah used to have food FedEx'ed from (I am not making this up). Guess she gets her chicken from KFC now. They probably FedEx it to her for free. "Another truckload of chicken for Ms. Winfrey. Sign here please."

Re: Oprah + Colonel = free chicken
If you read the "fine print" on the coupon it states that it's for 2 pieces (managers choice).
I'm guessing that you are going to get 2 of the smallest pieces with the coupon since it is an offer to try it for free.
If you order a dinner or bucket you'll get regualr size pieces.
BTW, it would be great to hand out the coupons to the homeless!

I read that the giveaway was just a way of seeing if the public would eat pigeon, the flying rat. I don't know for sure, but I didn't eat any.

I use to live in Fremont and would drive all the way across town, pick up Ezell's and drive it all the way back home and it was ALWAYS worth it. There are a handful of places I really miss and that's definitely one of them.

Their spicy chicken is so awesome and even better is they give you some spicy bbq sauce to dip it in. Easily the best fried chicken place in WA.

Re: Oprah + Colonel = free chicken
KFC is so nasty.
I used to eat it as a kid when my mom would bring a "bucket" or two home. In a jam, I've walked into one and it's nasty as you have a full view of the "kitchen" and people hosing down the floors and squirting taco shit into tacos.
Just nasty.

Re: Oprah + Colonel = free chicken
if you're pinching pennies...tuesdays at popeye's is 99cents for thigh and leg (no sides or drink). that is a deal. they also have a deal on wed...i think it is 8pieces for $6. more expensive than tues' deal but still not too bad. but as my tongan friend says..."i can't do 8pieces...only 6 so can we just go on tuesdays?"

Squirrel are only vermin if you live in the city. Growing up in the hills of Kentucky I was raised on squirrel, rabbit, and possum. Much better than KC!
