I don't think the Black Hobby Complex standard Dagigon glowed? I know it came out at the same time as the gid & green one but I always thought it was non glow.

Lixx, I don't have the black Hobby Complex Dagigon, but a buddy of mine who has it said it glows...not very bright because of all the black spray, but it's definitely on GID vinyl.

andy thanks for posting those pics......wow I can't wait to get that kappa now, that has to be the biggest shikaruna piece yet! I mean the thing dwarfs the igaru (looking at my detolfs now wondering if it will even fit!)

Looking back at those pics I kind of want a Poseidon now to go with the Zollmen Mach Baron. A purple one would be the perfect fit but the silver would be easier to find, and yes I went back to the charactics site this morning and the one that was sitting there forever is long gone! Doh!

Samba and Lawrence did you notice I updated the mini zags and dags as to event issue? I know the list is probably incomplete or wrong in some aspects but I try to keep it as close as possible. I think I need to try to get release dates on the base soon before I forever forget. If you see any glaring mistakes let me know.

Agreed 110% about the bigger bank account and apt space. I'm so friggin' pissed I have to sit out this purple kappa till mid june (spoke to a paypal manager and she's taking on my case personally and says if I don't get my print back by june 12th she is personally closing the case thus clearing my account). hopefully one will be left for me to order

Even though these guys look different, I am pretty sure they are the same, just one is a better photo than the other- but one difference is the pupils- I think it fucking rocks without the pupils- looks more evil and zombie like. Ill be interested to know if there are any without pupils released.

I wonder if they are 2 different releases though- the one in the magazine seems to have a release date- did this ever drop or is it it dropping now?

The purple kappa dropped on the SK website yesterday, and is also up for pre-order at lulu right now. There's a pretty sweet Chiosu being released as well.

I don't know about that Samba. I think they might be different now that you mention it. From the date in the magazine it looks like the 'no pupil' version might be a Hobikon 5/6 Special release. The goldish color Kappa was the event figure, but as we all know Shikaruna does Special or Secret versions for every event (which are more limited). Green Kappa was a SF49 figure and the maroon 'no pupil' Kappa we both have was the Special version. Maybe it's the same case here? You never know.

Then again the only different thing seems to be the eyes and the run size is exact as on the website? So maybe it was a proto in the magazine and they just filled in the eyes. Personally I like the no pupil look.

There have been other cases where the Hyper Hobby pics don't match the final releases. I've assumed that the HH pieces were paint samples photographed to meet publication deadlines.

That Chiosu looks like an acid trip, man. Lovin' it. I am so stoked, Chris and Grumble Toys totally helped me track down the purple Ygar--after I thought I missed the pre-order closing at Lulu and GT. Soooo stoked!!!!

I also meant to ask you guys, I am preeeetty sure the answer is 'no', but has SK done any sort of hairy beast/yeti/gorilla-type creature yet? Me thinks they should!
