The Ojo Rojo I painted yesterday was about 90% Gunze Sangyo (Mr.Color)

First major issue with Mr. Color... Layed down a coat of clear blue mr.color... then went t lay white v-color over it... blue keeps bleeding right through....

Sayonara V-Color Part II -The Return!

These are a pair of pieces I've wanted to do for a while, for myself.




I wanted to paint another Rangeas like this for a while, and when I found out I'm not going to have access to V-Color I freaked out. I tried getting a blank yellow Rangeas, but couldn't find one so I painted over my orange/blue custom.

Dengu! Man I love this guy from the day I saw him and knew I was going to paint one. This guy and the Rangeas above are sort of part of a larger grouping of customs I want to paint that will eventually all go together.

The Rangeas and Dengu are NFS.


Squirm- this squirm has been painted and repainted about a dozen times. I think I'm finally ok with it. I just wanted something colorful, and had mixed a lot of the red color on his head for other things so I used it here. It glows like hell in a black light!

There are a couple more I've finished but are commissions from other folks, I'm just waiting on their approval before I show anything.

I have to say Phil, I think you are the undisputed king of custom Rangeas!

Wish they were all in the same place, a full collection shot of them would look great, with the Skull wing leading the charge

haha, Thats Josh! A group shot would be cool, but I've really only painted 4 actual rangeas- One Toybot has, One the Joe has and two that belong to me, and I've repainted both of them twice. I wish I could get more Rangeas, I'd paint them until the cows came home.



yeah, thats all V-color still. I'm running out of colors now though. These are my last hurrah with v-color unless I can get some more.



Then go over to BST and take him home!
