Re: Japan is happy,BXH nice and sato the elephant make me happy
Cool photo's. I was out there last spring 08'. The peeps at BxH seemed pretty cool to me(and i have not tatoo's). The problem i had with BxH and SB was that if your not there on release days, the vinyl is pretty ltd, as all the good bits have long sold out. Scored some wicked T's though.
I preferred Mandarake Shibuya as well(apart from the stairs), but Nakano Broadway has so much more that just the Mandarake shops. Plus, alot of the time, the good stuff in Mandarake is'nt for sale. In Mandarake Shibuya, i saw a Kaws companion box being passed over the counter between two members of staff. When i enquired about it, the guy just shook his head and said "no sale". Oh well, someone obviously beat me to it.

Re: Japan is happy,BXH nice and sato the elephant make me happy
It's wierd that so many people like the shibuya mandarake the best, as to me i liked it the least. In tokyo i had the most luck at the akiba mandarake. But the hidden gem for me was the Nagoya mandarake. That place was loaded. Probably because people dont typically go to nagoya to hunt toys.

Nakano was cool to see, but I didn't find much. Shibuya was cool with the cave theme, but didn't have a whole lot when I was there.
